The hankook v12 evo2 I got are also great comparison to my MPSS. Better in the rain/snow. Equal in dry. And speed rating of "Y" is good for 186 mph (like I can even go that fast), tho they ride very well in the triple digits. Biggest con is noise after 5-6k miles goes up. But I think I will get good tire life out of them.

The Firestone’s are Bridgestone though. They were merely marketed as Firestones in the US.
It works in favor because of the above skepticism is why I think the prices are so much lower than their competition.
Im really not concerned about a tire failure and daily drive on them outside of the PNW winter couple months.

I said nothing of the sort. I said I'm not willing to bet half my deductible that these tires are the equivalent of tires I know well because economically it makes no sense to me. I made no comment at all about the performance of any other tire in this thread.
