Default New wheels and tires time for smokey burnout!

Thanks @evasivemotorsports for the new shoes. Fresh off the boat Weds Sport TC105X 17.2lbs per corner. This is a complete new design over the very popular TC105C's. Wrapping in some Pilot Sport Cups 2s 285/30/18’s. Plus a little fun with the old rubber R888R's lol These rims are 5lbs less then the Weds Sport SA-67R

Should make a nice improvement at track The Pilots are also a 1lb lighter tire then the Toyo's To go even further upgrading to the RR Racing two piece rotors front and back vs the current Figs. This will shave off even more unsprung wait! .

Beautiful rims! Very nice choice. Mind me asking the specs of the new Weds? Also, any rubbing?

Damn 17.2 lbs is like 7.8kg that's lighter than the TE37s.

- are these 18 x 9.5 all round? and what offset please?

- any fender work needed with the 285s?

- final question, why are you changing from Figs 2-piece to RR? are they lighter than the figs rotors?

So you went from the 19" SA-67Rs to the 18" TC105X? Saving 5lbs per wheel is incredible!

Can you post some additional pics of the new wheels installed?

@ Gearbangin what about the million other questions we asked.....or I asked

Really interested to see offsets, width and fender work you've done as this seems to be ticking all the right boxes on my to do list.

Appreciated

With the 285/30's is there any rubbing issues at the front wheel arc covers?

Yes I saw that but it’s not even a pound lighter. If performance is there I’ll make the switch. Look forward to hearing about your review on them. I currently have RB two piece rotors at the moment but I also have the Wilwood rear BBK RR racing has on there website.

Man, those look nice! Makes me almost want to follow your lead and trade in my SA-67Rs...

Are you going to run them as is without a center cap?

Why 285/30? Seems short.
