I doubt there is a noteable difference in personal experience between these.

I use K&N PS-7018 Pro, but I think any brand will do the job. I would be more concerned with proper viscosity and oil change intervals

I've been buying the correct part number filter from Lexus, not the YZZ4. I ran the YZZ4 for a while on the IS, but after all the oil filter threads we've had, I figured there had to be something different about the element, so I just order them by the case (since I now have two of these 2UR-GSEs in the garage).

Have you seen any difference in your oil analysis since switching back to the Lexus p/n that you think may be tied to the filter?

No. You can check yourself in the Blackstone thread. I have all my reports in that thread. There is no substantive difference in the reports when I changed filters, only when I changed the OCI did the numbers change.

I've been using Amsoil's fancy oil filter. Nicely made.

I use the oem filter. Bought a case from the dealer and the manager cut me a discount after I asked. Came out to 10$ per filter.

Thanks lobux. I've been following your Blackstone thread for years and didn't remember seeing anything different so I just thought I'd ask.

So basically you're just erring on the side of caution, right?

Yes. Definitely going for caution as I am keeping this car for quite a while.

I was gonna get the YZZA4 since its $6 at local toyota, but then saw the 51010 was only a couple bucks more so for the piece of mind went with the 51010. Two Lexus dealers locally wanted around $22 for the filter, but i ordered online.
