Omg!
I was able to get the price down on my 2008 MM ISF to $19,400. It had just hit 90kmiles and was in great shape -the only thing was the dash and door panels. It was the next day that I saw your post about the sticky dash and I went straight to Lexus -They took my vin and after a few min they told me I qualify for all new interior panels and dash!!!Know I will have the interior match the exterior!!!

I must be the only one who was told no by Lexus. I called the 800 number to go through the protocols before going to the dealership, and they said while my car falls into the year range for the program, the vin shows as not being eligible for the program. My dash and door panels definitely have the sticky/melting issue, so I’m livid about this. Does anyone know why certain vins aren’t covered under this program?
You could be VIN blocked. Clean title?

Update: a case manager at Lexus corporate reached out to me to confirm that indeed my ISF is covered, and the rep was mistaken. So I guess just make sure you push the point home if they give you any resistance, as the reps clearly are not as knowledgeable as everyone else. I’m just happy my car is covered, can’t wait to get them replaced!

Guys, how long does it take for your dealership to have the door panels ordered? I went to Johnson Lexus at Raleigh, NC. The SA said its going to 'take awhile' and 'not sure it will be in anytime soon'..... I am going overseas for a few years in 6 months....definitely want to take care of it before I leave.

I’m not sure if these guys are just throwing dates out there and not knowing for sure about the actual timeline. I thought the dealerships get paid by corporate in these categories of repair. If this is true and I was the dealership, I would try to get these done first since the repair is pretty expensive. Unless they are just so busy.
