When I had mine replaced, the manager walked around the car with me and we looked for any imperfections in the dash and panels. If I could find even a small scratch, he replaced it. I had one perfect door panel, so it is the only original left.

well hot damn. lemme head to the nearest lexus dealership...1 hr away.

Btw, my 03 infiniti g35 had its headunit replaced free in 2012...any chance I can get my F nav screen fixed for free? It doesnt respond to touch and Ive replaced the touchscreen once already (out of pocket)?

Can you guys help me clarify this, living in Florida my 08 is always sticky when it’s out in the sun, thankfully I park in a garage and when cooled down it goes away for the most part. With the exception of the areas around the defroster vents where my sun visor has scrapped off the dash when putting it down. Will I be eligible?

Look at the pictures in the PDF I posted. If your interior looks like those pictures, yes. If not (like mine), then no. My dash, like yours, gets sticky if I park in the sun for extended periods, but I never do that without putting up a sun blocking visor, so even then, the kind of damage guys who park outside experience is years away for me.

you should be able to. The document attached earlier in the thread shows the cooled down dash that is chalky and has scratches.

The only way way to know for sure is to bring it in

My situation is similar to this as well. Hopefully, this free replacement will be around for a couple years...

Has anyone tried bringing in their F to the dealership to get this fixed? I called my local dealership and they were clueless about this being available for the F. I was hoping to hop on it right away.

Anyone know if the replacement doesn’t get sticky in the sun/heat?

Anyone have the newest TSB number? The TSB Lobuxracer posted was issued August 2015.
