Did you hit something or the wheel just break?

And how how are you lifting the car up like that?

This does show the value of using forged wheels. These wheels aren’t forged, are they?

forged wheels crack as well ...wheels take a beating on track duty so they should be replaced every few years even if no cracks are visible

wheels on track cars are suppose to be treated as a consumable just like tires and brake pads.

I figures it out between Pitt Race and Mid Ohio I had almost 500 laps which equals over 1,200.00 miles of hot track action or over 17 hours!!!

I had no idea that wheels have a life expectancy. Even more reason not to run my 13 wheels on track since I can’t really replace them for a reasonable cost.

That's why I just bought an extra set of 2008 OEM wheels. One for summer / track and the other for winter / backup.
While they aren't the sexiest wheel, I'm hoping the hold up better than the average wheel.
