Default Purging or sucking sound between manual shifts

Ive seen several videos of the isf in manual mode, and i haven't noticed the purging sound or sucking sound between gear shifts that my car makes. Does anyone know what its from. I know the isf has a secondary intake but i know its not that. It happens rght after shifting gears.

Yep similar sound from my F, it's only when the revs are high and I go for another gear in manual mode having fun. As you say a split second after the gear is engaged.

Belt slipping. I don’t think there’s was ever a real fix for this issue. Those that have replaced the tensioner have said the same thing happens shortly thereafter. I kind of like the noise, it’s almost like a blowoff valve or something. I might ask my dealer to take a listen while I am under warranty at my 60k service, but, I’m not too concerned over it.

I never knew that's what it was, thanks for the info. I concur about kind of liking it, sounding like a BOV or something haha

oem tensioner and belt as well fixed the issue as well, not sure if it was either or but figured to just change out both to eliminate any second guess.
