Longest IS-F Road Trips?

A bit similar to MileHIFcar. Flew to Central Florida and drove to North Carolina after purchasing. Couple stops along the way playing shuttle service for the father in law for the middle of the trip. Just happened to work out that way and the company was nice. Think total time was around 12 hours.
Very uneventful and not the preferred way to spend the first hours with the car. Twisties and something less monotonous would have been ideal, but still an enjoyable experience. I will admit that I was about done with bridge expansion joints by time I hit the NC border. Was reasonably impressed with my 25 mpg.
Would do another long trip without question in this car, although a windy pass through the mountains would be better than interstate cruising.

In the IS F, Atlanta to Dallas, 830 miles 12.5 hours and back four or five times. Atlanta to Cedar Rapids, 852 miles 13 hours and back 5 or 6 times. Also did this in the GS F twice this year alone. Nothing too bad really. Not like the time the wife and I drove from College Park, MD to Evanston, WY only stopping for gas and a bad tire in Cheyenne in her '96 Camry. That was 30 hours in a car that could almost go 500 miles on a tank of gas. Most I ever did solo was 1850 miles in 26 hours in my '88 GTS Corolla. That was brutal.
Just today I did Atlanta to Charlotte (Mooresville) and back. That trip is one I have made MANY times in my IS F.

Drove from Florida to California over the span of 6 days with 1.5 days being taken up by visiting New Orleans and the Grand Canyon. A much better cross country drive than when I did it with a 1998 Ford Contour.

Drove mine from Brookfield, WI (west of Milwaukee) to Barrie Canada (north of Toronto): 667 miles, then Barrie to Niagara Falls: 130 miles, back to Barrie, back to Brookfield, all in road trip of ~ 1,600 miles. Never had one issue other than the small fuel tank.

That being said, Baltimore to Orlando and back in 4 day span, about 13 hours each way. With a packed car, AC on, and doing 80ish nearly the whole way down I think I aged 25mpg, around 27-28 if keeping it at 60-70. The fuel tank is small, but I get bored/hungry after 300 miles anyways, so it wasn't too bad. Back hurt way less than my previous car that rode smoother, but seat wasn't as comfy. Overall very happy with it as a road trip car. Even with a borla+muffler delete, it droned only at 90.

I'm also in Austin and almost made the flight out to CA in Feb 2015 to drive my CPO'd F back from Newport Lexus. I thought against it and had it transported back to me. The ISF group in Austin is fairly active, so PM me when you acquire the car and we can set up a meet and greet. Safe travels to and from....and stay away from the red and blue lights!
