I did a search on AutoTrader for cars in a 100mi radius and it popped up in Rockville Center, NY, about 90mi out of Hartford.
I called we did the negotiations over the phone including their picking up the balance of my lease (I sent them pics).
A lovely drive down, they tried to screw me on the pick up of my car but relented when I got up to leave.
At the last minute, I decided to take the tire and wheel insurance. Good thing I did, I picked up a nail on the way home and it was covered. As it turned out in the next 2 years the other 3 tires would also be replaced under the warranty - just under $2,000 in tires.

Probably the same car, but a few auto brokers would have listings every now and then. AMG GT isn't all that rare. Now, if you're talking about GTR....that's another story.

I'm a Lexus owner and I would go for an AMG C63S coupe (or sedan) before I bought an LC500.. but an LC500 would still be badass.. I've seen a few of them around my city and lets just say that when you see one of those.. you definitely turn and look at it because there ain't a car on the road that looks like it

Rockville Center has to be by far the worst Lexus dealership in tristate area. Bunch of low life sale staff. When I was looking for IS350 back in 2008, they took my deposit then tried to give me Is350 in different color and option when Told them to forget the deal that I want my deposit back they initially refuse to do it, I told them it was breach contract on their be have had to get my lawyer involved one faxed letter and phone call later they refunded my deposit. Then it took them 3 week to credit my card. End up buying it at Lexus of Greenwich in CT for less money and great service.
Westport Lexus tried to do a real number on me in 2010. I was looking to swap a 2007 IS250AWD for a 2010 IS250AWD. We discussed and did the deal over the phone- color, car, accessories, and their pick-up of my lease etc. My wife and I drove down and as I was signing the papers the salesman comes back and tells me they don't have the car/ He claims it's in port and they'll deliver it to my hose the next Tuesday. This they did. When I got home from work and looked the car over I noticed the car had 500mi on it. They gave me a BS reason (I'm keeping this short)
Now the fun started. I went into the GPS and pieced together 400+ miles and then made some calls.
1- I had a good relationship with a guy in Lexus Customer satisfaction he ran the vin for me and it turned out the car had been in the country for 4 months.
2- I called the shop - no unusual shop work
3- I called the body shop - Bingo - the car was in the body shop that weekend. Nothing major, just minor touch up work
BUT They failed to disclose, and compounded it with lie on lie.
The car was a lease so it really didn't matter to me, but now I had them in a very uncomfortable situation.
The end game - We had the lease for my car and they cut me a deal for my wife. A new 2010 ES350 at cost, less Lexus holdback, and they'd pick up our 2002 ES300 for full RETAIL, A non-profit deal for them. They were not happy campers.
