Default Feedback from actual ISF nitrous owners

Currently got a 2008 that is pretty much maxed out on performance with PPE headers, Joe Z intake and exhaust. Installed some R888Rs yesterday and suddenly craze more.

Any regrets when it comes to installing a system on your car ? If you could do it all over again would you change anything ? Lastly any issues that you experwice that might be avoided and roughly how many bottles have you used ?

Wanting to do a nitrous express kit kit with rpm swithces, warmer and such. It’s been about 10years since I had a bottle feed car and it wasnt the caliber of car that we all own currently.

Thanks for for your input.

Lots of info in those threads. Darbs242 and MRxSLAYx probably have the most practice with N2O on this forum.

Thanks for the additional links , hadn’t

seen those.

As for the R888R just mounted em this week. About to raise the car slightly tonight and add a little camber to tuck better. My 285 Michelin’s fit with plenty of room but the 285 Toyo is much wider.

Ive got a track event (1/4 mike) on May 6th and that’s what got me thinking about adding the bottle. Some hellcats, Audi RS5, M4, Z06’s and such attending with me and wanted to surprise them.

M4 with a tune and drag radials runs a mid 11. Our cars are pretty slow in the scheme of things these days haha. Bottle will help even the game.

BMW also underrates their HP numbers...........so it's not a stretch to see them go mid 11's with a tune (ala more boost) and drag radials. They're probably closer to 500 crank hp stock than what's advertised and less so than them overachieving at the strip for the advertised power rating from BMW.

Ignore nitrous relay wiring. WRONG .
Intellitronix rpm window switch. (Looks/works identical to $300 ones.
5/16 fuel tee from NX.
fuel gauge and fuel safety shutoff switch
eBay tank heaters work fine.
AFR gauge in stock o2 location if you run o2 Sims.
definitely spend the money on a better kit (solenoids are better quality).

Yellow with green tracer @ TB for WOT switch .
small white 2nd pin @ power source ECU for rpm signal.
Set window switch for 4cyl.
ignore nitrous wiring in picture .

Don't run E85 lol AMHIK.
