Default Advice on 2012 ISF Purchase

I currently have a G8 GT that I have enjoyed, but the miles are adding up. I was hoping to upgrade a bit, and after considering a few nicer sedans (2011ish S6, M5, CTS, etc) I am down to a 2009 G8 GXP or a 2011 or 2012 ISF. Both have their benefits, but I am leaning towards the ISF if I can make a couple modifications. Does anyone in the Orlando area happen to have an ISF set up with an intake, headers, and exhaust that focuses more on performance and less on the loud? Being 47 with two kids, I consider this a second "reasonable mid-life" fun car -- so I am hoping for more go and less show. I loved the Armytrix valved exhaust, but those are only for the RC Fs, correct?

Lol no matter what set up you go with, intake, exhaust and headers will be LOUD. My wife says my car is too loud and I’m stock.

If you want loud why not go for the Scatback or Hellcat?

Thankfully she was on the test drive with me and said it had a "little room to give." But in the not too distant past, I had a Mazda6 wagon with the whole set up. Their weren't many great options, so I will admit that it was loud ... too loud. So the car was sold to a 16 year old. Does anyone make a valved exhaust for the ISFs? I know they maje them for the G8s, but they are pretty expensive and I think only from the Holden motherland.

Ppe has a valved exhaust and I believe RR racing is coming out with another one. They will also be offering upgraded valved mufflers for the borla exhausts.

PPE and Meisterschaft are your choices.

I live in Orlando but only have the an intake at this time, soon a muffler.
Headers on the other hand might be a while, I heard is a pain and a half and a pretty penny, so don't know when ill get that done.

its also comes down too what's you definition of loud, because I've heard them with intake headers and a muffler deletes and to me that wasn't loud

I run full catless with X Force Varex (valved) exhaust - it is as quiet or quieter than stock with valves closed.

Thank you everyone. I am definately leaning more towards an ISF - the tech is so much better and if you don't know what you are looking at, the "sleeper value" seems higher to me. I think that is why the valved exhaust is so interesting.

I also run a xforce varex and with the valves closed I feel it's quieter than stock. With the valves open it screams.

The potential repair costs and time spent on them alone would shy me away from 7 year old Audis or BMWs.
