There's a thread on this somewhere. I believe there's a vacuum plug or something to the sort that you can unplug and it'll keep the 2nd flap open at all times. I believe if you get the RR intake it deletes the 2ndary flap from opening (open at all times).

Hmmm very interesting, a search of the forum only revealed discussions on after market intakes and not much on mods to stock systems. Hopefully someone will find the info, as long as theres no performance downside Id love to get that more aggressive sound at lower rpms...

Wait is that dangerous for the engine?
So i guess I have to pull off that hose and then plug it? I guess i need to buy some plugs for the hose? Is that it?

Thanks flowrider. I'm testing it, the ISF has power to spare for a dd that I will never track. So far I really like it, responds like its always in sport mode so I kinda understand why some folks get the impression it increases performance. Do you suppose installing a "AMsoil syn nanofiber" filter will offset any performance loss? A small loss is not a biggie, the car is still more than enough to get me in trouble, but I would like to offset any loss if possible (and cost effective)
