Default Ichiba v2 20mm spacers.

I know this has been discussed in the past and a few people back in 2011 had issues with them (If I recall correctly, 2 of them)

Any owners out there still using this spacers after years? what is your input in long term reliability? Do you recommended them?

I am not planning tracking the car, just the occasional hwy pulls.

Thanks.

H&R Trak+ DRS spacers. Running for over a year and half. No issues whatsoever. Daily driven and occasional canyon runs. Also didn't notice any added vibrations as some other spacers cause at high speeds.

Ive run ichiba spacers in the past and never had issues. Keep in mind on the Lexus you will have to run extended studs on any spacer over a 5mm though(even though I'm 99% sure they will come with them anyway)

Maybe was just a fluke with the ichiba spacers breaking, tens of thousands of people run spacers everyday with no issues

Hey,

Why not go with H&R Spacers? Very reputable within the Lexus community with 0 reported issues.

Add me to list, too. If you're going to run spacers, do it the right way. I've done 11 track days using H&R 15mm spacers w/extended wheel studs.

Perhaps right/wrong is not the best terminology (to each his own). However, I'd personally avoid the bolt-on style spacers because there's just more parts that can potentially break or loosen. It's the more risky solution, IMO.

The reason I don't want the extended lugs is because I will be replacing my stock wheels with aftermarket wheels in the next 6 months or so. I don't want to have to go back and do all the work again.

That's the main reason I want opinions on the Ichiba V2 style only. Thank you guys.

That's understandable. Though, it's a non-issue with extended or open ended lug nuts. I did that with my new summertime/track day wheels. Now, switching back to my OEM wheels w/all-season tires & spacers, takes no more time than any other wheel swap.
