It completely stops engine movement. When transitioning on/off throttle, especially when feathering the throttle in corner exit or at track, throttle control feels more “connected” and predicatable.

So anytime your inputs as a driver are being dampened like that, the slop takes away from the precise feel of the chassis, in a similar way that a soft & wobbly suspension would.

Of course, while it would be nice to eliminate all engine movement, it’s not practical because that would lead to excessive vibration. Our mounts reduce engine movement by 60-70% (compared to new OE mounts) without excess vibration. The only time you might feel any minor vibration is a idle in drive, but it’s very minor.

We are working on other parts for the ISF that have a similar goal, coming out in April.

Just trying to comprehend things here. First post you said it COMPLETELY eliminates engine movement. Next quoted post you said it reduces engine movement by 60-70%. Which is accurate?
Thanks for your time and info!

I'll wait for Rafi to respond but if the mount is not solid billet, then it will not completely eliminate engine movement. It looks to be 95 durometer mounts like the usrs so it will substantially decrease engine movement.

Id assume these would help guys with headers rubbing on hard cornering as well as they would limit engine movement.

Has the price been released?

Here is the link verbiage posted for the lazy

DESCRIPTION
Excessive engine deflection equals wasted power! Additionally, stiffer engine mounts give you greater feel and control of throttle application, because energy is no longer wasted during engine deflection when transitioning on/off throttle - your throttle inputs are translated directly to the wheels!

Features and Specifications:
  • Superior Construction: Our engine mounts feature billet 6061-T6 aluminum construction, metric grade 10.9 hardware, and super durable 70 durometer Energy Suspension Hyperflex polyurethane bushing. Bushings are easy to service, but we are so confidant in the durability of our bushing that we offer a lifetime guarantee!
  • Replace engine mounts when installing headers: We have found that MOST higher mileage ISF's already have torn or deteriorated engine mounts. Not only does this lead to vibration or excess engine movement, but it can also cause headers to touch the chassis.
  • Easy Installation: Installation requires removal of the subframe, and can be accomplished by a garage in about 1-1.5hrs. We strongly recommend installing these engine mounts when replacing headers, as the area will be easily accessible during header installation.
  • Minimal increase in Vibration: Although our engine mounts are significantly stiffer than stock, essentially eliminating all engine movement, increase in vibration is very minimal at idle only. In some cases, if the stock engine mounts have deteriorated, you may notice a reduction in vibration.

I'm curious.... What are these other parts for the ISF you speak of?? Definitely thinking about getting the engine mounts and the USRS and installing together.

You can see the obvious difference in the RR USRS video towards the end of the vid, you can see the engine moving quite a lot, with the standard mounts.

I think the RR look like art, pity no one would see them when installed.

Several different ongoing projects with the ISF, everything from chassis related, SC related, and weight reduction related.... the development never stops!

Yes, and keep in mind that that video is comparing our mounts to OEM mounts in perfect condition. I bet you the vast majority of ISF's on the road have at least 1 mount that wobbles like the one in the video.

Would these adversely affect any aftermarket header clearance?
