I want to thank everyone who has ordered the mounts. Also wanted to clarify a few things before misinformation spreads:

(1) Vibration transfer depends almost entirely on the amount of allowed defection in a system. We use polyurethane material for our bushing because it is extremely durable and impervious to degradation from chemicals. The common wisdom out there is that rubber is a better damper than polyurethane, but this is not true. In suspension bushings, for example, rubber has a reputation of better vibration damping because it is much softer than poly. Most rubber utilized in suspension bushings is probably 50-70 durometer, whereas polyurethane for aftermarket bushings is typically in the range of 90 durometer. For our engine mounts, we use 70 durometer polyurethane as we find it gives the best compromise between vibration damping and mount stiffness.

(2) Polyurethane will tend to sag under extreme heat, whereas rubber will crack under similar conditions. We conducted all our testing of our mounts without any heat insulation on the mount, and had zero issues. For our production mounts, we include gold heat shield as an added measure of long term thermal protection, as shown below:

Just as a follow up, I recently got my headers so I had to take everything back apart to install them, the RR mounts still were perfect(granted it was only 1500 miles, but it was 1500 miles of hard driving!).

They had better be still perfect after 1,500 miles, lmao!! Motor mounts, especially aftermarket quality ones, should last 75k to 100k miles before needing changed.

100% agree, I work in the aftermarket industry, and believe it or not, I've seen similar style mounts showing issues that quickly. I did not expect it at all from these. 75k-100k I don't know if the material will sustain that, but the benefit of RR's design is you can order replacement urethane from them, remove them open up and install with fresh material and reinstall at a large reduction in cost compared to replacing the entire mount.

Looks like I need to order a set of these. They look like a quality part.... but then again, RR-racing always makes quality parts!

Big thanks to everyone who ordered!

BTW, if you received mounts with black lower studs, it turns out we forgot to ship the required nuts with several orders last week, so make sure you get these from us before going for install.

Engine mounts with black studs require 2 flanged nuts... engine mounts without black studs do not require any nuts.

we made a change in thread type due to difficulty in getting m12x1.25 studs (same as original), so instead we use 1/2” studs, which is essentially the same diameter, but you can’t re-use the original nuts, so from now on we will provide replacement nuts for the lower studs.

Larry, I think you get the prize for worst condition stock mounts, you are going to love our new mounts at the track.

I had mine installed 2 weeks ago, and I'm very happy with them so far. The little extra vibration at idle is barely noticeable. First track day of the year is this Saturday!
