Also interested in seeing the RPF1's.

18's with meaty meres just looks so right on F.

All corners were rubbing, I raised a tiny bit and now only rub on big dips. Mostly it's due to my soft springs at 14/10 rate, so I am hoping to upgrade in the future here soon, to 16/12 or so.

Those last 2 pics look mean. Do you know how much you are lowered? I am interested in a square 9.5 et 38 setup of RPF1s for track use, but I am not interested in resolving rubbing issues unless it’s just front liner issues. What did you do to resolve the rubbing? Your input is appreciated.

Off topic, but what headlights are you running Lexusfan? Are they just OE with the insides painted?

Hey, what's your opinion on 18x9.5 +30 with 255 40 square? You think I can squeeze that extra 8mm? I really wanted to run a 275 35 square but I'm thinking its too much. Also I will have 16/12k rates.

I don’t see how you could clear a 30, but I’m not certain. I’m running 40 offset 9s right now with little clearance in the rear at full compression, but I’m also running very wide 275s. Maybe the 254s will give you enough room since they will be stretched. You made need a little trimming or rolling to fit. I could be wrong.

With a 255/40/18R suspect front rubbing at full lock. (Unless you push back the liner as far as possible and keep it in place)

Also Im not rubbing when going over bumps, 22F/18R Spring rate, 2 finger gap all around, I'll drop it to 1.0 finger gap and see what happens with full load of passengers

I am at about a finger gap. The fronts I had to replace one of the bolts to a flat top that holds the liner(otherwise it was digging into the tire on bumps). I also had to trim and push some of the liner in the front. I still rub a bit on full lock on the front, but that’s really only an issue when reversing as it gets a touch louder, and is due to the way the vents are shaped in the liner. The rear doesn’t rub at my height unless I have 3 passengers. They are also rolled from a previous 19” setup I had. Overall, it’s a very nice setup for daily driving and the few times I’ve autoxed.

They are actually just the oem 08’s with a smoked vinyl overlay with light cutouts. A local friend with a shop did it and he works on many cars. Very similar to bluebatmobile but with better vinyl quality. Distinct Wraps in Gaithersburg MD if you’re interested, he can probably ship.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but has there been any additional members running 18’s? I’m tryinf to determine my tire sizes as I just got new 18” 57dr’s like the OP.

I prefer to run a square setup on tires, but looking for the widest tires.

Im planning to get those rims soon.

For a 275 tire with +38 You will need to roll rear fenders (9.5)

+40 I think you can get away from that. (9.5)
