You only lose the readiness of your monitors only when you disconnect the battery or clear the CEL.

The tune itself will not get your monitors ready. Sikky conditioners just cycle the signal, therefore they need to be installed when all your monitors are in a “ready” status. PPE and RR Racing Conditioners work differently, they modulate the signal to the proper level, therefore you can plug them in anytime and your monitors will eventually become “ready” after few drive cycles.
