Default My First New (Used) 2008 ISF

New to the Lexus community, and I got my first IS F 2008 just under 55k miles! Got it for $28,000.

Wheels on all ISF models are pretty good looking in stock form...go with exhaust first and change the wheels later if you cant stand the stockers.

Thank bro! Nah this one was the one in Folsom CA, low miles owner took very good care of it!
The one is Walnut was 41k I believe, but that model was a 2012 and it was amazing, but too much for me.

Wheels are amazing! Although I'm looking to something more "sporty" or much lighter! I'm pretty much new to the market, and I' m trying to see if I can get a used Borla mid pipe somewhere. Planning on doing a muffler delete!

Exhaust to unleash some more hp was my vote. The problem with wheels is that it's a snowball effect. You're going to have to get tires, possibly drop the car, maybe even roll/cut fenders, and while it's all fun in the process, taking the advice others on the forums provided me- it's never "just wheels". One mod at a time is all I can say, but I doubt you'll be unhappy with a more pronounced sound when ripping the car past around the 3200 RPM range.

Congrats on the purchase, and definitely enjoy your F! Welcome to the family.

I test drove the one in Walnut Creek about a month ago, and I thought they were asking too much as well. Its been sitting for 2 months and they are still asking close to 40k. I picked up the 2010 SGM color at Tracy Chevrolet and I’m glad I did. Anyhow congrats on the purchase! We should set up a winter cruise for the Nor Cal folks. The weather has been flawless.

Cruise would be amazing this time of year, I ever see IS F in my area, so it would be great to meet up with more owners.

Nice! Got a damn fine deal on yours though, I'll remember that price range when looking for mine

EDIT: was your 28k price out the door, by any chance?

Neither.

Get some good tires on it, fix the front squishy bushings, get a true LSD in the rear, and if you must.....hollow out the cats and get the RR Tune.

The wheels are forged BBS wheels and are light and expensive.

It blows my mind that people replaced them with untested cast heavy pieces of garbage.
