Hi, all I'm new to forums. Plan to purchase a car sometime next year. Lexus isf is my first choice. From what I'm see 2011-2012 a bit over 70k mileage are going for 32-33k? From what I researched on the forums and read seems like ISF are pretty reliable. But should I be worry about the 70k mileage plan to drive it for while. Or should I go for one under 40k mileage they are priced around 38k. Are those the price range or I can find better? Any advice would be appreciated.

I’d only bother with the lower mileage if it also includes a warranty.

Just buy the Lowest mileage one you can afford. Do you have a specific interior/exterior color combo you want? If so, if you find that color, hop on it fast because they are slim pickings! Won't have much time for negotiation.... while you're negotiating, someone else will come thru and scoop it up! And be prepared to travel!!

I would go with the lower miles but you should be fine with something with higher miles as these cars are extremely reliable.

Yeah lower miles is what you seek then find as low as you can find. But with lexus mileage doesn't even bother me, even more so with as sturdy as the ISF is. I was more picky with color combo than miles, I bought my ISF with 95k on the clock and the car was very well taken care of

I just bought my fully loaded 2010 with 90k miles for 29k out the door. It was in mint condition so I feel 32-33k for 2011+ is fair. These cars sell quickly when reasonably priced, to make matters worst they didnt make a bunch of them.

You may have to travel out of state to find what you’re looking for if ready to purchase right now. Or wait for the perfect one to pop up close by to you, which could take months.... in the meanwhile get preapproved if you are not buying it cash , and get car insurance quotes ahead of time.

Bought my grey 2011 with 93k miles from a private party for $29k. Excellent condition with a lot of maintenance done. The price was very fair

I feel the same as the poster above - interior and exterior colors are more important to me than mileage

I keep coming back to this simple comparison.

You can get a “mostly” loaded Honda Accord for $36k+ or you can get a mint ISF in that price range.

Take your pick..

Hard to compared accord vs ist. But you right can get a full load one for around the same price with around 20-30kish miles on it.

I bought my 2011 with 40k miles 18 months ago for 34K. It took me over a year to find what I wanted. One popped up at Honda dealer 30 mins away from my house. went the next day to check it out and wanted to purchase. I actually even walked out the dealer because they didn't give me what I wanted. the sales guy flagged me down as I was backing out and said 'we have a deal at 34k" when they were asking 40k.

Price will be pending on how much that certain person wants to pay for the car and how bad they want it. Some will say I could've got it for cheaper and some will say I got a steal. Some people will think the same exact car is worth 35k and others will only think it 30k. Its really up to the buyer, what they can afford, what they think its worth, and what they're willing to spend.

I had searched from CA to FL and everywhere in between to find the right year, miles, condition etc. for months.. And one popped up at a Lexus dealership an hour away. Went to see it, left the dealership and ended up making a deal with them on the phone the next day. I would say that there is also a little comfort in knowing it is Lexus certified as I am sure a lot of you know what a car has to go through to be certified. but with that said.
It is a 2012 with 45k miles, immaculate car! was listed for $38,990. deal was made at $36,000.
