I had one of my exhaust tips fall of yesterday when I was washing the f. I googled it and it seems like it is not uncommon (fortunately I didn’t lose it while driving like some have)...

anyways, I was going to weld it back on and touch up the other side as well to prevent that from happening.

is the best route to take the bumper off for access? It appears pretty tight up there from what I recall installing my pts exhaust.

Any pointers?

Yes, pull the rear bumper off is the easiest way to get them out. They are held with with three hex type bolts/screws.

Beware that if you live in a salted/corrision area you might have those screws break on you when you remove them.

FWIW, I had to use an impact to remove my bolts and only one came out clean, the rest snapped in half.

One you remove the tips They're easy to tack weld back together.
