Default Weird places road debris gets

Just having a look what was behind the tow covers
holy sh#t how did that get there, on both sides.

I've been meaning to open mine. I can see small stones along the bottom edges. I bet I have similar.

LOL! The diffusers and the undertray cover in the rear collect rocks like nobody’s business! I posted a pic of an entire pile of small rocks that I banged out of these areas when I was getting ready to install an after,Arlen diffuser...they just kept coming out!

Ill have to check my towhook cover today!

That's just a small sample of the road crud hiding behind the rear bumper cover.

I recently removed my bumper to work on some things and did see a good amount of debris lodged in various pockets around the inside of the bumper. She's nearly 10 years old though, so, honestly, I wasn't too surprised but it just added to my to-do list of things before re-installing the rear bumper.

I've seen leaves collect in the bumper cover every fall. They get wet, spray upward and get caught underneath. I usually that area out at the end of autumn.
