Hello everyone, I've searched around and couldn't find an answer to my question. So I've noticed in my desperate search for EU spec mirrors to install on my ISF I've noticed the EU version of the ISF has gridlines in the back-up camera that move with the steering wheel.

Does anybody know if sourcing a EU spec navigation headunit would be compatible with the Mark Levinson US spec radio? I'd probably just be getting the navigation half. Is there another ECU that monitors steering for those gridlines that US spec cars don't have? What other differences are there in regards to the headunit between the US/EU spec 2IS?

if you can find a EU spec radio i can tell you the pinouts if they are the same or not. there is another ecu that controls the steering line when turning but you can disable those lines. north american spec headunit has it already if yours have backup camera function from factory

i purchased a oem stereo from japan and it connected right up (3is) 2017

Thanks for the reply! None of the US spec 2IS' have the lines so I don't think there's anything I can enable. I'll see if sourcing a Japanese/EU Nav works. I'm glad yours worked! Have you had any issues?

possible what i was thinking was on a 2013/2014 2is. no problems with the nav unit ect. just swapped over the us spec sd card.

Awesome. I'll report back once I pull the trigger on a headunit. Having body work done to my F and sound system next so might be a little while lol.

Love my F4i, great sporty/commuter bike. It might be cheaper just to buy a new F4i than to fix it....the cost of parts/fairings is even more than what the whole bike is worth.
