Michelin PS 4S 245/35 (front) & 255/35 (rear) Sizes
I picked up the fronts in (245/35/19) and am wondering if anyone has had any experience with pairing these front sizes with OEM-sized rears (255/35/19). Wasn't able to come across this combo in the search. It doesn't have to be this particular brand/tire.
Another alternative (to 275/30) I've considered is 265/35? My rationale is that the E9X M3 uses this size and its staked. I know its not exactly right to cross the two chassis, but how bad can it be?
p.s. I track 1-2 events a year. My current set-up works for street driving, but I am not liking it in high-speed corners. Ie, I do not feel confident in 60-80+ mph transitions.

I did this setup in the RE-11... here's my thread about it... https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...res-tried.html ... i was having weird tread issues on getting the right psi to get a good contact patch of the front tire where it had me running a higher psi than stock... if you run stock psi on the wider tire, the outer edges would wear quicker but it also can be dependent on the tread compound too... so i went back to stock size after and didn't want to have to worry about running the "right" psi...
As for running 255/35 in the rear, did you lose any straight-line stability on the street?

I also have outer wear (-2/32) on my 245/35 fronts (Birdgestone S-04) running stock PSI. I have since bumped it to 37.5 - 38psi on the fronts and kept 36 on the rears. Never really liked this set-up so I decided to just replace them earlier with the new P4S.

not sure of your question... do you mean just cruising straight line or did you mean from a stop like doing a drag race? from a stop, some tires would whip the tail out to the side... with the RE-11, it did not exhibit that...

Not even RR LCA bushings??
If not I would address some of the deficiencies of the stock suspension and that will probably address the high speed instability uneasiness that your feeling that better tires won't definitely solve or mask temporarily.

But the speed instability I am referring to starts at the apex of the turn and not the turn-in. So I don't think the USRS will help me in this? Think of the feeling when you're at the limits of traction and your gut is telling you to lift-off.
