Default New ISF world record!

No, I didn't break into the 10's like my goal was to this year, but I came real damn close!!!

Car was running amazing all weekend but I have to fight some nasty altitude in Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. My corrected DA time is a new world record.

I don't know if you all think my car would be heavily modified because I'm running nitrous but I believe it is mildly modified. I have the 3 main bolt ons and Nitrous, that's mild in terms of modifications on cars.

Anyways, super stoked, what a fast run that was!

Whew.... based on the title, I thought this was going to be another thread started by I8ABMR

That's a really good time, congratulations! I'm not quite sure it would qualify as a record being that you are using the bottle. The reason I say that is because the next guy could beat your time just by using a bigger shot of NOS. Either way, it's a great time.

clearly you don't follow the drag racing ISFs very much. The previous best this car has ever done with any setup is an 11.18

If someone wants to come in and use a larger shot as you say, id invite them to try. Very few have used larger than a 150 shot without blowing up their engine. The link below is the previous best of anyone with an ISF.

also, "NOS" is a brand, it is not Nitrous Oxide. I am using Nitrous Express, not NOS. 😀

My bad.... not trying to rain on your parade, I'm just not a big fan of "Nitrous Oxide". Don't get all worked up... I said congratulations and I thought it was a very good time.

1.6 60ft time is extremely good! What drag setup tires and rims were you using?

It really is amazing how quick these cars can be with a couple mods and some laughing gas. Now they aren't tx2k roll race monsters but for an everyday driver and cruising car they really can get the job done and put quite a few cars in their place.

most definetly, I'm racing against a very large handicap up here. Conditions are far from perfect.

Racemaster M&H 9" drag slicks on 17" rims. I installed a custom drive shaft loop as it is mandatory with full slicks.

Keep pushing!! You'll break that 10.9 very soon!! Cheering for you and the NA ISF!!
Oh, btw, that's faster than any other supercharged ISFs in the 1/4 mile currently as well!! Of course the mph/trap speed of the supercharged ISFs was/is higher but the numbers you're putting down are impressive to say the least!
