i understand your concerns and although I can relate and somewhat agree. Some of us will never, ever, have a chance at proper DA to ever make a real pass.
...talk about a drag...7 hours one way to the drag strip...pun intended

Drag racing isn't my main passion by any stretch, but it is definitely a blast once in a while. I am lucky that I live fairly close to a few good drag strips (Capital Raceway and Cecil County Dragway), which very late in the season (Nov/Dec) occasionally have good conditions with negative DAs.

Thats understandable and a bummer for you. You definitely had a great pass and an amazing launch but the post title is inaccurate nonetheless. That's equivalent to me running a great lap time at Louden International speedway, punching my numbers into a Nurburgring Ring time calculator, claiming that I set the ISF record for the Nurburgring Ring and since I'll never get my car to Germany it will have to be good enough.

You never know, maybe one day the stars will align; you'll get the right DA, a good launch and make that corrected time! I'm rooting for you.

So, if you won't accept my DA time, would you accept my 1/8th time as a new world record? Last year I posted a 7.17 1/8th mile at 98.80mph.

That is is faster than the old world record where he ran 7.32 in the 8th when he ran his 11.32

That's crazy low mileage. Might as well garage the car and wait for it to become a classic. I thought I had low miles with 50000mi on my 2011.
