Tested mine a few days ago, as my passenger was a bit on the chilly side. It warmed up within maybe 5-10 seconds with just the first level. I set her side to level 2, and she felt it get really hot fast, almost unbearable, so I dialed it back to level 1 for her. I personally don't use them, but they work fine, given the feedback from my guests that do wish to have them warmed. I really wish cooled seats were an option, especially with how hot it can get in the car at times.

Drivers seat gets hot very quick on setting 3. Passengers complain that their heat warmers don't do much. I can feel the heat in the passenger seat but it doesn't seem to be as hot as the drivers side.

I think mine get warm relatively quick on setting 3. It must be noticeable on the passenger side as well cause if I turn on both and they don't notice, they always comment "do you have seat warmers? my seat got warm"

+1 on the cooled seats.....wish we had those.

I hardly use the seat warmers, but they work fine for my needs.

I know a bunch of folks wish the ISF had a cooled seat option but honestly in my old IS350, if I had on anything more than tshirt and basketball shorts I didn't even feel the cooled seats. Not to mention its 100-110 degrees in vegas 6 months of the year so that didn't help either when the car is an oven upon entry lol

Thanks for the responses. Seems like something is wrong with my seats than.

I wish this car had cooled seats as well... I use them quite often during the summer time.

The F heated seats don't get as hot as the seats in my Bimmer, but they have no issues in my case.

Yeah.... never use this option here in 115 degree Arizona... but I'm sure they work.

My seat heaters are so hot they are super uncomfortable, max is on the lowest setting until warm then turn them off..

I would trade the heating for airconditioned seats in a heartbeat.. The land of Aus down under is farkin hot.

Huh? Did I say I wanted instantaneous heat? I've left mine on L3 on a 20 minute drive and it felt like it was on L1. I was wearing shorts that day, so I should have felt it more so than if I were wearing jeans.

Mine get pretty toasty on both driver and passenger side, but the truth is I never use them in sunny Tampa. Like others have stated, I'd swap for cooled seats any day of the week!

They won't roast you like some do. They really aren't super hot on a cold day, and even at full blast, they're not going to make you break out in a sweat in the winters here. I have sat on uncomfortably hot heated seats, and that's from someone who hates the cold with a passion. I have replaced the heaters in the driver's side top and bottom (mandatory when you replace the leather) and it made no difference at all.
