This is what my front rotors looked like when I pulled them off:
Cracked like a mo fo!
Sorry about the quality, thought they would be more clear?......... anyhow almost every hole is cracked pretty good

Anybody else know any ongoing 20% codes for Autozone? Looks like my rotors w/25k on them are shot. Apparently driving CoTA in 95F Texas summer heat on stock pads is not the best of ideas...
Edit: "DEAL20" is good for 20% off through tomorrow, so discounted total is $170 for both front rotors! Add the three $10 gift cards I got for bringing back some old batteries, and I'm under $150 for new rotors including tax... awesome!!!

Also... question. Rear rotors have seen a couple track days, but I'd like to reuse them if possible with the new pads. Is it really important that I have them turned, or will the new pads (Project Mu HC800) bed in fine as-is? I keep reading things about transfer layer - is this something I could get off with simple brake cleaner?
All that said, I have some meat left on the rears so was going to keep them on a bit longer if possible... I know that might only increase the front bias already present in our cars, but would that necessarily be a safety issue tracking on a cool day? I have an event in December and another in March at CoTA. Thanks!

And if your card supports cash back, that's additional savings. My bank does 5% cash back on Autozone purchase now, so I'll be getting 25% off essentially. (26~ since the 5% is on the entire amount including tax).

Ordered the OEM Brembo's from parts container on eBay last week. Price was $380 and with a 20% off site wide coupon it was $304 shipped. Boxes and rotors look exactly like on the photos on here elsewhere and they looked quality. Just for kicks I asked the dealer and they quoted $1100 just for rotors. Not bad saving $800 with a few clicks..I originally wanted to buy from AutoZone for the ease of return if any issues, but they didn't have any 20% off coupons..
