Lexon Widebody Kit Installed

Lexon Widebody Kit Installed
Been contemplating to do this ever since the kit came out. However, I just don't like the bolt-on look with the rivets. Since my body shop did such a great job with molding the Wald front end, you guessed it, I had asked them to mold the Lexon kit. This was no small job. I didn't realize the amount of work that it took until they got started. As you will see, I didn't end up using every piece of the kit. I love the way it came out. A bit more subtle than bolting it on, which is exactly what I wanted.
In order to maintain the carbon fiber vents on the Wald bumper, they had fabricate a new piece, heat and reshape the bumper so it lined up with the new fender flares. Same goes with the rear bumper. Instead of using the Lexon kit, heat and reshape was the method used. Custom brackets had to be made to support the new rear bumper shape.
I had to install 25 mm spacers to bring out the wheels. I went with Michelin PS4s tires. Fronts are 255/35/19 and rears are 295/30/19. Surprisingly, I am rubbing. The front is rubbing when I turn the wheel closer to the end, but it isn't too bad. The rears are rubbing closer around the 10 and 2 o'clock position. It sounds pretty bad. I just got my car back yesterday, so still seeing what tweaks need to be done. I've already spotted some imperfections. Will need to bring it back to the body shop to have these things ironed out. I'll stop typing, and let you guys see the pictures.

Wow! Quite stunning! I feel your same sentiment when it comes to tacking on the widebody kit, but this looks fantastic! I knew someone was bound to take on this project, and seeing how well your molded WALD trunk and front apron looked, this just seemed like it needed to follow suit. Amazing work by the body shop, and congrats on how it turned out. Wow!

I echo everyone else's sentiments and applaud your commitment to getting it done right. Hope you are able to iron out the rubbing issues as I imagine that this would be an annoyance.
