Was your passenger quarter panel already damaged which is what drove you to doing the whole kit or was that done when trimming for the over fenders?

My car was in the shop for 7 months. They told me it was going to take awhile, because they plan to work on my car when they have time. They handle insurance cases first, because they pay more. I know the owner, so it didn't bother me. Plus, I get a discount for being patient.

I took the car back this morning to have the rubbing issue taken care of. Got my fingers crossed. The rears sounded really bad. As for the wheels, I plan to keep the Weds Sports. I just love the blue light chrome finish.

I will have to bring the car back after a month to have the paint polished out. I see some spots that need to be reworked. Hopefully a month later, all the problems will be ironed out.

There was no damage to my car. The trimming was done as part of the body work. I wanted the kit to be as sturdy as possible. This meant bending the original fender out as part of the under support for the kit.

They do great work, looks awesome. But the wheels need to go wider to justify the widebody.

Your body shop guys did an incredible job with this and your car looks amazing. Not hating at all, but I'm not sure if its worth the cost/labor for such a subtle look, unless you had some SUPER aggressive wheels to really show off the "wide body". Again though, they did such a good job, it almost looks like its OEM.

Probably would "show" a bit more if parked next to a stock ISF for comparison.

Kudos to you Airvtec for creating a unique & special f. Great to deal with a shop that takes pride in their work.

+1 for a pic of your car parked next to a skinny "normal" f.

Perhaps the pictures doesn't show it as well, as in person. You can definitely tell the difference. The front fenders are what really stands out. The first time when I saw the finished product, I was surprised at how much the front fenders flared out. I really don't have plans to get wider wheels. 255 front and 295 rears look pretty wide as it is. I will definitely post pictures next to another F when I get the chance.
