Your wheel hop issues could be associated with the rear diff rubber bushings , I'll sometimes get wheel hop if I punch it too hard. At this point it's good to upgrade with the Figs diff bushings if you plan on keeping it.

That's amazing to see that these cars can last so long. I know Lexus IS reliable but how many high performance cars can you be secure in knowing that they can surpass the 100k mile mark and not be a total nightmare in repairs
