Has anyone here tracked their F at the Castrol Track by Edmonton? experience any good? I was thinking about it with an instructor, just need to find the time.

i took my F on the road course at Castrol last season during a private track day. It was a blast, would recommend it... but there are a few turns with zero run off, and concrete walls.. I saw someone put their BMW in to the wall that day. And remember even full coverage insurance won't cover you at the race track.

This is mostly what's kept me from heading up there. I can't wait for the day when we finally get another road course near Calgary.

1) Lexus of Calgary meet on Saturday June 24th @ 12PM

2) Cruise to Lake Louise on Sunday June 25th @ 10AM

Damn, I missed your post. The Lake cruise sounds epic. I guess i'll monitor this thread more closely. How do you find out about Lexus of Calgary meets etc?

Thanks for that, odd how they have it on a Thursday... but the thing i noticed is that they do not require you to have a helmet! I wonder if that's because this is more a safety related driving program versus racing like others offer.

I usually organize them and the F owners try to get together weekly. A bunch of us owners will be up in Sylvan Lake for the car-show on July 22nd. There will be another Lexus of Calgary meet possibly in August.
