Unhappy Well my Monday sucks

Got into an accident on the way to work (insurance all exchanged and settled with police report, now just waiting on the verdict. 90% chance in my favor since the other party made a left turn when I had right of way), and now I am wondering what were actually damaged, see attachment for reference...

The rough estimate, without actually seeing inside, is $8000 worth of repair for bumper, fender, tire (tire is flat), headlight, and painting. However, I am not sure if there are more things damaged like maybe the control arms or oil cooler (not sure if it's located on the right or left side).

The impact was done at 40-45 MPH against a new Jeep, so my car basically crumbled like a tin can. If anyone can offer insight on what I should be looking at in terms of damage so I can argue with my adjuster, it will be greatly appreciated.

2011 ISF.

EDIT: airbags did not deploy

EDIT 2: passenger door does not close fully without force.

Doesn't look it had scuffs from the accident, but the tire got flat though.

Very sorry to hear this, but at least you were not injured. Looking at the pics, I would be surprised if the insurance company didn't total it out.

Sorry to hear. I've went through an accident like this myself.

- Refinished Hood
- New Fender & Liner
- Scratched Intake Box and Insurance replaced the whole unit
- New Passenger Headlight
- New grille
- New Bumper

Everything else was intact and no damage to frame or any other components. Approx cost of repair was just shy of $9000 CAD. I'm pretty sure yours will come out to be more because of the door.

Every company is different, but I think the general rule of thumb is 50-60% of the median market value or critical component damage i.e. frame, whichever first. Close call at this point though if the door is also affected (which I think is due to the fender being pushed back).

That's terrible. On top of all this, was your suspension/transmission fine? I guess I can now shoot the estimate up to $10K+...

Good thing that it didn't go down that way.

The day before my accident, I had put in the Penske Coilover on. Everything was safe from suspension to drivetrain and such. I got lucky.

If the other vehicle hit the tire on its way through its likely the front suspension on that side is bent.

And the sad thing is, I'm questioning whether the insurance company is going to replace one tire or both....
