If this thing compares to the 997/991 turbo or dare I say the 997/991 gt3, then we definitely have an IS-F "dream car" successor!

I read that article and this is what stood out to me, Anybody want to pony up possibly $180k for the LCF
"While the LC500 will start at $92,995, the LC F could nearly double that figure. Sound expensive? Well, it’s a bargain next to the $350,000 Lexus asked for the LFA."

I read that article and this is what stood out to me, Anybody want to pony up possibly $180k for the LCF

F cars seem to demand a 30-40k price increase. Hopefully that's the case.

According to our source at Lexus, this high-performance powerplant is in essence two 8AR-type 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engines joined together at 90 degrees. The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 also will find its way into the GS F—making 550 horsepower—but for the LC F it will be turned up to 600 horsepower, with 470 lb-ft of torque. As with the LC500, the F will use the company’s 10-speed automatic transmission.
The LC F’s bespoke body kit will feature hood vents, air ducts for brake cooling, a fixed rear wing, and an aggressive front splitter as well as side and rear air vents. A set of 20-inch wheels wrapped in high-performance rubber will keep the LC F stuck to the road, while six-piston brake calipers will squeeze the rotors to scrub off speed. We’ll learn more about the hardware on this ultimate Lexus this fall.

To bad most of us won't be able to afford it and it probably won't be as nice as an s63 or s65 and won't sound as nice either since those are v8s. I don't know why they didn't make one like that closer to the m5 price considering the power is similar...

Lexus likes to under power their products while over pricing it. The LCF does look really good but like many of you that has already mentioned it, it won't cater to the average car enthusiast. If they were to put it around GTR price territory then it would be more enticing because now a days 600 HP isn't really a "wow" factor anymore, especially with force induction. Lexus is definitely very late to the game but then it also will pave the way for newer generation GSF, RCFs, and crossing my fingers, ISF.
