Ive given up with my interior rattles, I'm going to try getting them fixed when it's apart for the airbag recall but till then I just live with it, somehow still audible over bazooka exhaust and music

I was lucky up until this happened - I had zero interior rattles. Overall it is not too bad - I only hear it at very slow speeds and when entering steep driveways.

I can live with it.

Not that one - it is at the turnpike entrance off of 78 - you need to stay on the far, far right before the toll to avoid it. I saw it yesterday, looks like the drainage grate that extends the length of the tolls broke off near the center.

So creak noise is still present when entering driveways - does anyone have a photo of the front passenger side with fender removed? Cannot find one online.

Trying to determine what could be creaking under/behind the fender itself.

This is the noise I am getting when I lower the car on a jack.. coming from the fender.

All of the fender support brackets look ok as do the body seams that I can see. The noise sounds like it is coming from right where the first vid focuses on, the second vid is the same area from under hood. I am stumped.

i will need to remove fender to see what it could be. It is annoying as hell when entering/exiting driveway.

I'd bet it's a bad spot weld. I got rid of a Celica GTS and bought a Supra in 1994 for this reason. Found the same problem on a hatch in a Scion tC a buddy owned.

Unfortunately, I think so too - I suspect it is a bad weld somewhere on the part circled in red on this photo. At least that is where the noise seems to be coming from.

Other than the general annoyance of the thing, not sure how much structural rigidity I may have lost. I do not feel any difference.

I plan on going back to the body shop and have them remove the fender and re-weld if possible.

Yea with the fender removed and they lower the car, if the noise is still there it's a weld probably right where you are showing.

I hope so - that looks to be the only welded part in the neighborhood, everything else looks like unibody.

To close the loop on this....after spending every weekend investigating the problem, the problem is solved!

The area circled in red needed to be lightly pried away from the chassis. When I hit the pothole the fender shifted and either tightened the clearance between the chassis and the bracket or somehow loosened a portion of the weld. It caused the bracket to rub on the chassis and created binding noise heard in the vid.

Car is now back to normal, no squeaks, creaks or anything else.
