In this case, there's not much of a comparison since I went from an "extreme performance summer" tire (Bridgestone RE-11) to a "high performance all-season" (Continental DWS). I wanted the 285/30 rears since they're just a tick bigger in overall diameter (closer to O.D. of OEM rear tires). Plus, the little extra sidewall helps soften the ride in cold weather.

I wanted to try out a stickier 285/30 tire, but as Lance pointed out, the choices in that size are not very plentiful. The all-seasons will remain on my OEM wheels, and I plan to get an 18" squared set of wheels with sticky summer tires for warm weather fun at the track & beyond

245/35/19 275/35/19 2011 model love the handling and the tyre gap ,on stock suspension setup. Replaced the front Potenza re050 because they were getting down ( it was tramlining ) with Potenza 003,s,( firestone equivalent ) verdict fantastic. I will replace the rears shortly with Michelin pilot sport 2,s ,currently running 275/35/19 re050. After I put the R003,s on the front, 1 month later I put the USRS, tightened everything up and under heavy fast braking it has taken ALL the wander out of the car, thanks RR. I MIGHT PUT 285/30/19 on the rear but I think I read that you have to roll the guards, stock ISF wheels ???????

I'm running 235/265 combo, I own a 2013 but live in Puerto Rico and cars of those years here came with the Neiman Marcus wheels so I'm not sure if they are 8"x9" or 8.5"x9.5". There was some rubbing when going backwards and turning completely to one side, the dealership says it was because of the tire size, but know after reading this thread I'm gessing it might be something else...

Bringing this back up. Stock 2011 wheels. Considering getting new tires soon. Lowered on swift springs and have 10mm spacers up front and 15mm rear. Do I go 235/35-265/30 or do I run 245/35-275/30. Anyone have pictures of both??

I just got my 245 front PS4S today and have the backs coming in.

I still have the AD08s on the back but there's just not much grip under 75 degrees so I'm moving on. With those still on the rear I can say the front PS4S has a LOT more grip at 50 degrees today!

FYI: My old fronts are a 235/35 and they looked fine.

Michelin makes the Pilot Super Sport (MPSS) in 285/30/19. It's an OE tire the C7 Corvette and some Mercedes models.
