I sell cars for a living and we just got a one owner isf with 248k on it. It's I'm great shape and runs well. Just skeptical on the milage. Anyone has thoughts or concerns on this before pulling the trigger. Love my IS250 just can't get this isf off my plate without asking..... Go? No Go?

Is it matador red ? There was one for sale for 14k a little bit a go. 10k seems good to me some dealers and private sale owners want around the same for their is250 is350 with similar mileage

holy crap...F can get to almost 250k miles?...i know lexus is reliable but it's always nice to actually see one up with sky high miles
i would think about when you might want to sell it and what estimated mileage would that be (or check with carmax how much they would pay for it), how much you are expected to spend to keep it running and see the difference against the purchase price....to determine the cost of ownership. Car with this kind of mileage is very difficult to sell but at the same time it's already depreciated rock bottom, there's limited room in how much you will lose.
Definitely invest in a PPI to gauge the condition of the car, with this kind of miles a lot of stuff is probably already replaced before so look into those parts that are still original
understand the major repairs and costs and see if it makes sense (transmission rebuilt, used engine, navigation screen, suspension parts etc.)

Can't really lose at that price honestly. I look at it as you could part the thing out and break even. If the PPI checks out and I don't know maybe a compression check or simple vacuum check looks good then why the hell not.
At that mileage I bet a LOT of the usual wear items have already been replaced. That's a cheap fast fun car in my opinion.
