Default Lexus Platinum Vehicle Warranty

Hello,

UPDATE:

I wanted to give everyone an update on this due to finding what was causing the codes. Hopefully this will help the community in the future. When taking apart the intake last night to inspect I found that the intake pipe after the MAF had been damaged by over tightening. It is now crimped and is allowing air into the system after the MAF and is causing the lean conditions. Still waiting to hear back from the dealership to see if this will be replaced by the warranty.

My check engine light just came on and I have the following codes.

P0172 - Bank 1 System Too Rich
P0175 - Bank 2 System Too Rich
P0101 - Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit Range/Performance
P1170 - Fuel Performance/Port Injector

Does anyone have any experience with the Lexus warranty and coverage of these items. Looks like I possibly have an O2 sensor going out. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

No offense but the best answer to your specific question would probably come from the service department of your local Lexus dealership and/or by calling Lexus customer service. Answers here may vary

You're right on. I'm waiting for a response from them but it's taking awhile. Wanted to see if anyone had any experience with this. This will be my first warranty issue.

I'd be leaning towards a yes that warranty would cover this...if you have exhaust and headers they may give you a hard time.

Wanted to bring this thread up to date. I think I've found the problem. If people are having similar coes maybe this will help.

Cheers!
