It's already almost unbearable to watch football/TV due to every third commercial being an automaker holiday sales event! Are we seriously going to have to deal with this all the way till January??

The one where the Mom is literally freaking out screaming to wake everyone up to go see the new car outside drives me Fing nuts!!! The first time I saw it I thought it was a trailer for a terror movie because she was screaming like someone was GD killing her!

It amazes me how much I pay for cable TV and what I actually watch, let's see here:

• Local news
• Discovery Channel
• Fat & the Furious

That's really it, I don't even watch NFL anymore. (since my team is 1-9 or whatever, it justifies it more)

Yes, those auto commercials are annoying. The Mercedes Benz one is neat with Santa driving the red SLS-AMG.

I'd rather be outside and do something fun.

I only watch what I want. Between PBS, YouTube and various official sources like colleges and government websites, there's more than enough content. One of my favorites is iTunes U by Apple

Anyways, all I pay for is internet and then I'm not forced to listen/watch to crap I don't really want to. Of course it helps that I'm not really into any sports.

I cut out cable, that never really had 1080 P and put a good antenna in my attic. Now I get 1080 P over the air and all the TV I want. PBS is first class.

Years ago I started buying DVD's and Blue Ray DVD's. I've no idea how many I own but it is a lot and is a way better picture that cable. I wish cable TV a lot of luck, they'll need it. Anyone notice that movies made for theaters are also unwinding. Lots of changes happening.
