In my respect with no cats it is impossible to drive with the windows down to not have your clothes smell.
After I put them on, at idle it is not noticeable but with decent or wot there is a chance I smell it. Seems like it depends on how the turbulence or wind is blowing.
Maybe 80% of the smell was elimanated by this cats, a lot better than without it.

Your right only 1 for $363. But interms of quality and function, for me its worth it.

Those are nice welds. Can you share the shop that did it for you? Also, who installed and headers and can you share what it cost?

I just got my headers installed and can't stand the smell. I'll be buying magnaflow cats because my pocket isn't deep enough for gesi cats. I noticed some people installed the cat right before the o2 sensor, is this necessary if I have the o2 simulator from ppe installed? Or can I just install the cat after the o2 sensor without any CELs?

If you have the simulators installed it isn't necessary to have the after o2 sensors.

In my case I just did since the shop was convinced I could get away without simulators since I got these gesi. I never tried and left the simulators as is.

These are the correct units that we need in the F if going gesi cats?

^^^^^
Yes, the GESI #7525 cat is the correct one for the F per the last pic in post #12.

I have the same ones ready to be installed.

Go with a metallic structure if you want peace of mind.
Magnaflow 29956 200cel high-flows are with a metallic structure (not ceramic) as low as $80 a piece (x2) on Amazon and eBay.
Vibrant Gesi 7525 lowest $337 a piece. (x2) on Tunersports.com

I don't think I can't justify that kind of money for Gesi ones. I am sure the power difference is negligible in comparison. PPE uses Magnaflows on their Dual system with documented gains.

Otherwise, you'll probably end up paying twice lol.
I can tell the quality of this cats. There few instaces this cats hit those road bumps coz the car is lowered . Oh i remember that i hit one time that is so hard. I jack up the car check it. So far no issues. No regrets over the cheaper one.

can anyone running either or give us any updates on any current issues with either cats i should consider...

im stuck between the Magnaflows from RR-racing or ordering the Gesi. car is only being a DD. It'll sting to spend the extra coin for the Gesi but I am looking for longevity. But if i can get the same from the Magnaflows for a third of the cost...

i read up in this thread the main thing is hard heat cycles is what kills the Magnaflows quicker and that's typically track driving, which i don't see myself doing in the near future.
