What happens if you hold the downshift paddle depressed?

It would seem cool, and reasonable, if holding the downshift paddle would automatically drop you into the lowest gear possible at that rpm.

Anyone ever tried this?

it will not do anything. Just drop you 1 gear.

have sport mode on. have the car in drive. down shift once with the car still in drive (D) do not!!!! put the car in to Manual mode (M).... the display will come up looking like [D4] or what ever gear you cruising in. Then try holding down the down paddle and see if it will drop you in to the lowest gear. that might be what you are looking for
