Do not power launch the car as someone mentioned here. This doesn't work in the isf. The best way to launch if you're stock is to just mash the pedal from idle. If you have power mods launching depends on track conditions. This is all covered on the sticky drag thread

I did. On Handcock V12's. You just wouldn't wanna exceed the stall at 1500. If you can push the launch rpms and aren't losing traction I see no reason whatsoever not to. I launched it around 1k I'm going to push it further next time.

^^^THIS! When I was just joe-z tube, borla catback and drag radial best results were from leaving off idle. Every time I tried to stall it would bog down and my 60' and et suffered. my best off of idle with those mods in -300 DA was 1.824 60' & 12.35 @ 116

My best 60' times come from idle as well as tapping the rev limiter in each gear shifting in manual has yielded me all my 11.9 times as well and others who have broken 12 seconds. One weird thing that has been happening to me occasionally since I put the tuned intake on is if I'm a hair late shifting into third I'll get wheel spin and the fuel cuts out for a second. I'm not sure why this happens.

Guess I will try it both ways. What rpms were you at when you tried to stall it BS?

Drok, you'll love what lightweight drag radials will do for the car.

I've got 5 gallons of 100 octane unleaded stashed for the weekend of 10/7 - 10/9 when the strip opens for the final time this year.
