Love me some Triple R products and all they've done for the various Lexus platforms, but stainless hardware or at least a little anti-seize would have been prudent here. To be fair, my Penskes previously spent some time on the Nurburgring, thus also likely some cold German Ge-Freauzen weather and its corresponding road salt. Here's to hoping the PB Blaster does its magic after a few days' soak, as the set screws wouldn't budge after letting them sit soaked for 2 hours last night. I'm also very reluctant to apply heat on something thermally coupled via aluminum to a pricey aluminum shock body.
The same thing happened to me recently on both fronts shocks. It only took a couple minutes for the penetrant to free up the seized passenger side set-screw.. However, one on the driver's side took a good 10-15 minutes to remove. Then, as I held it over a large (full) trash can to spray some brake parts cleaner on it - butterfingers - it was gone.

Apparently, it doesn't take much moisture for these to rust & seize up since my car is rarely driven on wet roads. So yes, a bit of anti-seize is good idea

Super happy with my set. Car is an '08 and the factory dampers were pretty tired. Had a lot of wallowing and uncontrolled suspension movement. But the high speed damping was still in full force and made the ride comfort not great either.

The Penske's are far better planted; great body control. I've dealt with a number of different options on other platforms, and this is a decent step ahead of anything else I've tried previously. Despite having the great body control, the ride comfort is still pretty good. Honestly, the top hats are probably the largest contributor to daily driving annoyance (which isn't bad).

Would highly recommend the setup.
