I was born and still visit Maryland. You are not going to find a ton of options around there as that area is geared towards 4x4. If you notice subarus are big up there with AWD since the massive snow storms every year.

I baby my car some dont. I would recommended being very careful in the snow you if you do decide to buy. Make sure you have a back up. Plus no one wants salt on these fine young ladies.

Good looks. Fortunately I can work from home and I do have access to a 4runner. Completely agree with you, though!

Thanks,
Reny

There are a few guys on here with roof racks. They don't look out of place at all. In fact, I am thinking of one to help with my wood working projects.

Do you mean a hitch or a rack? I put a hitch on mine for two reasons - first for the bike rack, second for the track tire trailer. I never leave anything on the car, but it's nice to be able to haul more than a breadbox.

I was referring to the rack, but good advice, gentlemen. It's probably the least of my concerns. Speaking of, the one I'm looking for is a 2011, so there's no warranty. What do you guys think? Am I able to get a warranty through lexus still? Is it worth it? Or will I be fine?

You still have powertrain warranty (unless its over 70k miles) and you should be able to get an extended warranty through lexus too. Not sure if its worth it, waiting on a quote for my 2011 with 30k

Thanks for your response. That's true as it has 32k miles. BTW since your waiting for a quote....I've been reading up on this stuff on the forum and apparently there are some guys that can get you extended factory Lexus warranties for around 1400. Hope that helps you. See if you can find it. If not, hit me up and I'm sure I'll be able to find the post again.

I do vaguely remember reading that, luckily I have a pretty awesome service advisor at my local dealer so I'm sure he'll tell me the best route. He already told me don't buy the parts from us just bring them in for the work if you can't do it because its a waste of money. Thought that was funny
