Default Any experience with the new P Zeros?

Due to the back orders on pilot super sports I was forced to choose a different tire. I went with the Pirelli p zero's 275/35/19. Previous to now I had on some all year tires and had terrible traction issues when trying to launch. Did I make a decent choice? Are any of y'all running these on your f?

I had them before on my LS. They are kind of a goto tire for many people with bigger wheels. I had them on my LS460 but had defects in the tread that cause INSANE vibration. I swore off Pirelli and Continental forever for that reason. If there is no vibration I think you'll be ok

Seems like anyone with 22" wheels is running these. They are cheap too. I learned the hard way that you get what you pay for with tires. Only reason Im on the Yokohama o, other than grip and reliability , is that they cost more than the PSS. I didnt want a cheap *** alternative on my car. My Lexus...... the best or nothing at all LOL

I just got the 275/30-19 P Zero Nero GT if that's the model you're asking about. I've only had them about 4 weeks so can't comment on if they will wear out too fast. However, I do really like the feel of them. they definitely grip better for cornering and launching, though i have to say my comparison was some OEM potenza S050s that i think were a little dry-rotted or at least beginning to harden and crack from heat.
I happened to get them on July 4th weekend when additional rebates were happening so got the full set of four for only about $700! Granted they might not be as awesome as the Michelin PSSs all these other guys are praising, but heck at $700, who cares if they wear out a little faster? I don't track my car so I figure it doesn't hurt to try these for a while.

At $700 you can buy two sets vs. PSS. Just a question of whether or not they wear twice as fast. The Michelin's do have a warranty on treadwear, but it's halved for staggered sizes.
