Rule 1: don't ask the car to do anything is isn't already doing or plan to spin the car.

Rule 2: don't drive on crappy tires. Period. Cheap tires are cheap right until they force you to pay your deductible because you saved a couple of hundred bucks on cheap tires.

^^^^The ISF came with Summer Max Performance Tires, and replacements should at least be in the same tire category or higher (Extreme Performance). Not All Season

I drove on bald PSS all the time in the rain, and now I drove on Toyo R888 (treadwear 80) in the rain several times.
Never had an issue. Just don't mash the pedal or make sudden turns/lane changes. I'm overzealous with the right foot normally, too!
