Though I truly love my Joe Z exhaust, every since installing it, you can not hear the 2nd intake opening up any longer😔! Why is this?! I personally don't think the Joe Z is THAT much louder that it's covering the sound of the 2nd intake opening but maybe it is?!?
And of course you can still feel the 2nd intake opening but I'm just speaking on the sound. Lmk what you guys think!

The sound was definitely still there when I hit 3600 rpm, very distinct. Miss that sound! I was running the Borla cat back exhaust (which is still for sale btw) and joe z intake.

Yeah its still there but no where near as pronounced as when you are on stock exhaust. When I went with my Joe Z setup it definitely covered it up some but you can still notice it

I still hear mine with Borla and the RR Magnaflow Quad tip but the intake sound blends in with the exhaust so you'd have to listen for it.

Yea, I meant to update this thread, lol. Once I put on the HPS intake tube, the intake sound became louder/throatier and more pronounced again! Love the sound 😋!

No the Joez doesn't make the intake louder, maybe a pseudo effect or you left out your air filter lol. I have a simular setup with Xforce and I looove the intake sound k@ N air filter no more stealth mode but I don't care enjoy.

Not that it matters, but I edited my post and I meant HPS intake tube, not joeZ, lol.
But I'm 100% sure the intake sounds throatier and noticably louder with the tube installed. I was surprised how the sound came back and now I can hear the intake opening more. Didn't expect that. Car feels smoother, although no faster, thru highway pulls as well. Slightly more responsive (with the throttle controller turned OFF).
For a free hundred bucks, I'd say anyone who is missing the intake sound to try adding an intake tube such as the JoeZ, HPS, RR Racing, etc. Nothing you will hear in a video (I don't think) and nothing I really noticed on a cold start or just revving the motor at a stand still. Clearly noticable to me on highway speeds/pulls👍.
