And Valley plate leak..

I haven't seen this recall yet. Canada usually gets these a bit late compared to all of you south of the border.

http://www.toyota.com/recall

Yup, typed in my VIN and the recall is displayed, but with status "Remedy Not Available".

"Lexus is currently preparing the remedy for this condition and will provide additional information as it becomes available. The remedy, when available, will consist of the replacement of the airbag inflator or the airbag assembly, depending on the vehicle model."

I'm assuming I won't be getting a call in anytime soon as there's a long wait list...

I notice it this morning but I didn't pay any attention because it didn't say ISF but hmm, guess i'll be visiting the dealer if there is a recall and when the remedy is available.

Thanks Lou for sharing this.

Doesn't each air bag have it's own inflator? Is the front passenger's bag the only one produced by Takata?

At least my dash isn't melting (yet).

^^^^1. Yes

2. I don't know. When I replaced my steering wheel I didn't look at the marking on the airbag.

3. Neither is mine!

I'm dreading this dash melting y'all are talking about. I have no idea if the previous owners had it done

Guy I know with an older M3 has airbag recall...the BMW stealership hasn't had the parts to perform the recall for months. Given the number of vehicles affected, I imagine the same issue here.

Didn't we know about this like months ago? Takata announced the recall for their airbags a long time ago, so naturally since our cars uses them, they would get recalled. This is one recall that once i do get it in the mail i'll have to book an apt for it to get done...

Crap! I don't know what's worse...the fact that my F might need to go back to the dealership, though I've had great experiences with Lexus of Riverside, or that three of our household cars are listed
