$400 to much. it's like paying someone $150 an hour for a two hour job at most and then rest is material. I don't mind the chrome, but if I get sick of it I'll use the mini pooper tape.

Default Window trim

Are you wrapping the rubber flap that's attached to the bottom window trim too? Or are you removing the flap?

not sure what you mean by the rubber flap, but I didn't remove anything and just wrapped the chrome pieces.

My 08’ isf bottom window trim has these black rubber flaps that are partially pealed off but still attached to the trim.

If you're talking about the rubber flap that sits against the glass, don't mess with that. That's what keeps water out of the door.

He's talking about the rubber that lays over the chrome. It's a common problem that this rubber unsticks from the chrome trim and looks horrible.

I have the same question about wrapping the rubber/ vinyl that is peeling off of the chrome. Do you just put the new vinyl over that and cover the chrome?

You need to remove the black tape first.. if not it will be uneven all over the place which will not help install of the vinyl.

I'm getting my window trim wrapped this spring when I bring my car out.. I have a guy in town that does $150 for all windows..

$400 is a huge rip off lol

I would say if its not falling apart leave it on, if its already tearing off take it off

Sorry here's the link

Thanks for the link. Will one roll be sufficient for the full car or do we need 2?

I did mine with 1 roll. I bought two. The second roll uslost I. The sea of junk in my garage. I need to redo my windows. The tape has held on just fine...but the bottom rubber trim on all 4 windows s completely peeled up. I need to cut it off and wrap everything. Might attempt it myself.
