I know I remember that commercial. I still think it may have been setup because they would have called the cops lol. I really am impressed our cars can hang with a new SS. I just took a 19 hour Amtrak to get mine and the weather is cold and rainy. Stupid Wisconsin
Looked like the IS-F started earlier on the roll races.
I assure you I didn't. That was our 3rd run out of 4 that morning. We had previous ditch runs we have done earlier that week. Plus we had passengers in each car. Anybody, could have called out that I started before he did. Especially, the Camaro owner. I did look through the other videos from a different angle and you can clearly see we both stomped the gas at the same time.
Thread revival I know, sorry. But I just had to say, I love how both of you guys come off as genuine car guys in the video. Not either one gets slightly mad or annoyed that they lose and it's very clear that they are both just enjoying the same hobby. Driving fast, bad *** cars!

I appreciate it. I love anything and everything that's fast and wants to play. I'm sure my buddy feels the same way.

Hey guys, this commercial was great and it was filmed not too far from where I live. The consensus around here is that it is definitely a fake commercial. The dealership is easily recognized by locals as Troutman motors (google maps has it at 1510 US 29 Concord, NC 28097) and is only a few miles from Charlotte Motor Speedway and Hendrick Motorsports. With just the dealership included in the video it would have been easy to sell as genuine. The part where he drives up to the "security shack/gate" and up the loading ramp is all videoed on the old Phillip Morris cigarette factory property (located between the speedway and about a mile and a half from Troutman motors) Since it is on private property, Google maps lists the closest address to the warehouses as 3237 Westridge Lane Southwest, Concord, NC 28027. The warehouses are to the right/east of this location and there are 7 of them. If you zoom in, you can even see the red ramps he drove up. This property had been closed for some time at the time this commercial was filmed and certainly not open to the public for automobile test drives. The main gate is located at 2321 Concord Parkway South, Concord, NC 28027. These are the two properties shown in the video and only security guards roamed the empty facility at Phillip Morris behind closed/locked entry gates. Here is a link to the map of a route between both locations. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/35.3...a=!4m2!4m1!3e0
