Hey guys, wanted to know if any of you have experienced this issue. My F started to do this a couple of months ago. It will not unlock the driver side door with either from the handle (while key in your pockets) or with the key fob (when pressing the button). If i go to the passenger side and place my hand on the handle it will unlock the doors except the driver.

Is there any remedy to this? Does it have to do with the Actuator?

More than likely a dead door lock actuator.

On my 2006 IS350 I was experiencing the same problem , I would press the unlock but it would just beep as if it unlocks , same for the lock button. I figured since it detects my key it must be some module that isn't responding with the computer so I reset my ecu by pulling 2 fuses out and waiting 3 mins to reset. (Factory Reset)I then reinserted the fuses and tried the key fob and it worked. Can't say this will work for all Lexus cars with similar problems but it did for me

Have you tried using the key, unclip the cap and manually open the door with the key if it works your door solenoid is on the blink, take the inner door panel off and spray the solenoid and linkages with wd40 and go from there, it could be stiff or stuffed let the forum know what you find.
